Job summary

St. Christopher's Hospital for Children is seeking an Ophthalmic Assistant to work under the supervision of an ophthalmologist, performing eye screenings and diagnostic testing to support comprehensive patient evaluations.

This role includes providing clerical and administrative support as needed to keep the clinic running smoothly. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:15 AM to 4:45 PM, with flexibility and travel to Bucks County satellite offices and other departments to cover needs across

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or relevant experience may be considered.
• Certified Ophthalmic Assistant within 12 months of hire.
• Experience in clinical/ophthalmic settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform eye screenings and diagnostic tests to evaluate patient eye problems.
• Provide clerical and administrative support as needed.
• Travel to Bucks County satellite office and other departments as required.
• Collaborate with ophthalmologists and staff to ensure efficient patient care.

Qualifications

Schedule: Mon - Fri 8:15a - 4:45p. The scheduled start and end times require flexibility to meet the needs of the practice. In addition to working at Bucks County Satellite Office, there will be travel to our other departments/satellite offices to provide support until hours will be worked only at Bucks County.

Education Requirements

• Completes and maintains all competencies and trainings as required for role.
