Retina Specialists of Ohio/Corrective Eye is seeking an Ophthalmic Technician to support ophthalmologists by performing initial testing and ensuring smooth clinic flow in Willoughby Hills, OH. Travel to Mayfield Heights, Parma, Independence, and Streetsboro is required with mileage reimbursed.

The role emphasizes patient care, accurate data entry in EMR, and assisting with diagnostic tests such as visual fields, OCT, and refractions.

Formación

• Minimum high school diploma or GED required.
• One year of related experience and/or training.
• Current COA or COT certification preferred but not required.
• Proficient with EMR and common office software.

Responsabilidades

• Greet patients professionally and manage clinic flow.
• Record medical history, medications, and purpose of visit.
• Perform diagnostic tests (visual fields, OCT, GDX, IOL master, auto refractor, topography).
• Maintain EMR entries and document visits and procedures.
• Prepare patients for exams and assist ophthalmologist.
• Open/close exam rooms and stock supplies.
• Travel to multiple locations as needed; mileage reimbursed.
