SightMD is seeking a Certified Surgical Technician (CST) to support ophthalmic surgeries in a high-volume ambulatory surgery center. You will maintain sterile technique, prepare rooms, and assist surgeons throughout intraoperative phases while collaborating with RNs and anesthesia providers.

Responsibilities include instrument passing, sterile processing, and ensuring patient safety and infection control. A CST certification and BLS are required, with a rotating day schedule and competitive

Formación

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Current BLS certification or obtain within 6 months of employment.
• Certified Surgical Technician (CST) Certification from an accredited school.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a high-stress environment.

Responsabilidades

• Preoperative: Prepare operating rooms with instruments, equipment, and sterile supplies; verify patient and procedure information with the team.
• Intraoperative: Pass instruments, maintain sterile field, monitor the surgical area, document activities, and assist with instrument reprocessing.
• General: Maintain aseptic technique, uphold infection prevention and HIPAA standards, assist with inventory and training of new staff.
