Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is required.
• Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse license in the state of practice is required.
• Progressive nursing experience with supervisory/management responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily nursing and clinical operations, ensuring appropriate staffing and standards of care.
• Lead, coach, and develop nursing and clinical staff; foster teamwork and a positive workplace culture.
• Coordinate recruitment, onboarding, evaluations, and employee relations with HR.
• Schedule staffing based on volume, patient needs, and budget expectations.
• Oversee orientation, competencies, continuing education, and certifications.
• Maintain survey readiness and coordinate inspections and audits.
• Lead quality assurance and performance improvement activities using data and feedback.
• Oversee infection prevention, medication management, sterile processing, and patient safety practices.
• Collaborate with physicians and anesthesia providers to resolve clinical concerns.
• Monitor supplies, equipment readiness, and resource utilization with operations leaders.
• Support emergency preparedness and staff education.
• Provide direct patient care as needed within licensure.
• Ensure patient confidentiality and accurate clinical documentation.
