Archon Business Group is seeking a Surgical Scrub Technician to support the Surgery department in Chico, CA. The role focuses on preparing supplies, maintaining a sterile field, and assisting surgeons throughout procedures to ensure patient safety and efficient operating room turnover.

The position requires at least one year of surgical tech or sterile processing experience, and certification in surgical technology or sterile processing.

Formación

• Surgical technician certification or sterile processing certification is required.
• Minimum of one year of surgical technician or sterile processing experience.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience with ophthalmic procedures is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare operating rooms for procedures and ensure sterile field.
• Scrub in and assist the surgeon during operations.
• Operate LenSx laser and verify parameters for LenSx patients.
• Assist with pre-operative testing and instrument sterilization.
• Maintain accurate instrument processing records and inventory.
• Support training of new scrub technicians.
