Comprehensive EyeCare Partners is seeking an entry-level Ophthalmic Scribe for Texan Eye Balcones in Austin, TX. The role supports ophthalmologists and optometrists by documenting patient encounters in real-time and ensuring accurate medical records during clinical visits.
Work schedule is Monday–Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM. High school diploma preferred; ophthalmic scribe certification preferred but not required.

The Ophthalmic Scribe is a valuable member of the eye care team, primarily responsible for assisting ophthalmologists and optometrists in documenting patient encounters and ensuring accurate medical records. Their role involves real-time transcription and administrative support during clinical visits. Scribes may assist with patient care as directed by the physician. These duties may include those of an Ophthalmic Assistant and/ or Technician.
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8AM to 5PM
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to stay focused
