EyeSouth Partners is hiring an Operating Room Nurse/Preop/PACU at Retina Institute of Illinois in Illinois. The ideal candidate will provide ongoing assessment and nursing care to patients in perioperative and outpatient settings, collaborating with physicians and team members to ensure safe, high-quality eye care.

Requirements include an active RN license in the state, BLS and ACLS, and current surgical experience within the last three years.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state where work will be conducted.
• BLS and ACLS certification.
• Current surgical experience within the last 3 years.
• Ability to make sound nursing judgments.
• Commitment to patient-centered perioperative care.

Responsibilities

• Follows and completes assignments as given by the Clinical Director and Providers.
• Circulates surgical procedures for surgeons operating at the facility.
• Maintains a safe patient care environment.
• Prepares the surgery suite for procedures.
• Adheres to PPE universal precautions.
• Keeps current with competency and ongoing education.
• Has hospital or ambulatory surgery center experience.

Education

High school diploma or GED

Graduate of accredited school of nursing
