Job summary

Vision Innovation Partners is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive peri-operative care in our ambulatory surgery setting. The role covers pre-operative, intra-operative circulating duties, and PACU care, with emphasis on patient safety, precise documentation, and teamwork with anesthesia.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' OR experience; ophthalmology preferred.
• Active RN license as required by state or compact licensure.
• Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing.
• BCLS, ACLS & PALS certifications required upon employment (AHA).

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality nursing care across the surgical continuum in an ASC.
• Function as circulating nurse, coordinating room activities and needs.
• Prepare and administer medications safely per physician orders.
• Collaborate with anesthesia during induction and emergencies.
• Provide PACU care including airway management and vitals monitoring.
• Maintain complete documentation throughout all phases of care.
• Communicate effective hand-off reports during transitions.
• Follow safety protocols to promote patient and staff safety.
• Perform nursing duties as assigned.
