Job summary

The University of Miami Bascom Palmer Eye Institute in Palm Beach Gardens, FL, is seeking an Ophthalmic Imager I for a full-time, on-site role. The OI1 performs specialized ocular imaging and documents results in the EMR, supporting comprehensive eye care under supervision.

The position requires a high school diploma, BLS certification, and at least one year of relevant experience. A patient-centered approach, accuracy, reliability, and the ability to work evenings or weekends as needed are

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience.
• Strong communication, organization, and composure under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Perform ocular diagnostic imaging (color fundus photography, OCT, angiography, perimetry, slit lamp and external photography) in EMR/PACS.
• Document procedures and upload images to EMR/PACS.
• Ensure equipment calibration and routine maintenance.
• Assist with patient care and ensure safety and infection control.
