Job summary

EyeSouth Partners in Boca Raton seeks an entry-level Ophthalmic Imager I to support imaging and patient care in a fast-paced ophthalmology clinic. You will assist with imaging procedures, ensure correct EMR attachments, and contribute to efficient clinic flow under supervision.

The role requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, strong customer service and communication skills, and an interest in ophthalmic imaging. Nextech/ICP experience and ophthalmic clinical exposure are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent, or related experience preferred.
• Nextech/ICP experience strongly preferred.
• Ophthalmic/optometric clinical experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Support efficient clinic flow and patient care in ophthalmology setting.
• Assist with photography and imaging needs (biometry, fundus photos, OCT, VF, topography).
• Upload and verify patient images in the EMR with proper documentation.
• Add imaging to chart notes for billing and coding purposes; resolve imaging queries.
• Report imaging equipment or process issues to clinical leadership and restock supplies as needed.
• Participate in team huddles and follow practice procedures and regulations.
