Horizon Eye Care is seeking a skilled Ophthalmic Assistant to support ophthalmologists with advanced testing, imaging, and EHR documentation. You will perform perimetry, OCT, fundus photography, angiography, and biometry while ensuring accurate data entry and patient care across a branch office and the Cotswold location.

Responsibilities include instrument calibration, room maintenance, venipuncture for dyes, and coordination with the imaging software.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Certified Ophthalmic Assistant certification preferred.
• Associate’s degree or equivalent is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Assist ophthalmologists with Humphrey automated perimetry and imaging.
• Perform and publish imaging and tests in the EHR as per physician orders.
• Maintain testing rooms and calibrate equipment.
• Venipuncture for Fluorescein and ICG Angiography.
• Stock rooms and manage supplies; clean and close testing areas.
