Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma required; Associates or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Experience: 1-2 years ophthalmology, optometry, or eye space experience required.
• License/certification: MA, COA, COT, or OSC preferred but not required.
• Limited phlebotomy technician (LPT) required, ability to process and handle blood.
• Strong English communication and customer service skills; bilingual in Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review trial protocols and inclusion/exclusion criteria.
• Explain study details to candidates and obtain informed consent.
• Recruit and screen potential candidates and schedule visits.
• Perform basic eye exams and testing for trial qualification.
• Maintain trial documentation, logs, and EMR/paper records.
• Support enrollment tracking and sponsor queries.
