EyeSouth Partners in Atlanta, GA, is seeking a Corporate Call Center Representative for a hybrid role based in Sandy Springs. You will be the first point of contact for patients, helping with inquiries, appointments, and medical information while upholding HIPAA standards.

Ideal candidates have ophthalmology or optometry experience, strong communication skills, and a patient-first mindset. Prior call center experience is advantageous, with benefits including medical, dental, vision, and 401k

Qualifikationen

• Ophthalmology/optometry experience required.
• Certified Ophthalmic Assistant (COA) or CMA preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree/certification in healthcare administration is a plus.
• Previous call center or healthcare setting experience is advantageous.
• Strong verbal and written communication; HIPAA knowledge.

Aufgaben

• Answer incoming calls and address inquiries with courtesy.
• Schedule, reschedule, and confirm appointments across ophthalmology sub-specialties.
• Verify patient information and collect medical data to create a medical advisory.
• Update EHR accurately and efficiently.
• Explain services, procedures, and insurance coverage to patients.
• Maintain patient confidentiality per HIPAA.
• Document call interactions in the call center system.
• Meet call center performance metrics including call quality and first-call resolution.
• Coordinate with referring offices and internal departments for seamless patient care.
