Job summary

Vance Thompson Vision in Billings, MT seeks an Ophthalmic Assistant to join our team and support patient workups, tests and flow. You will perform visual acuity, patient history, and diagnostic tests in line with protocol, ensuring smooth clinic operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• AAO home study completion preferred.
• Prior patient care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient workups including visual acuity and history.
• Execute diagnostic tests such as keratometry, topography and tonometry as directed.
• Monitor schedules, patient records and assist in efficient flow through the clinic.
• Triaging patient calls and addressing concerns to ensure satisfaction.
• Assist in opening/closing exam lanes and stocking work areas.
