Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; certification in Ophthalmic Medical Programs preferred.
• Minimum one year Ophthalmic Assistant experience preferred; knowledge of ocular terminology and pharmacology.

Responsibilities

• Document chief complaints and patient history accurately.
• Perform visual acuity, refraction, color vision, tonometry, dilation and other patient services as directed.
• Assist with lasers, procedure tray setups, eyedrop/ointment instillation and room sanitation.
