Trinity Health in Maywood, IL is seeking an Ophthalmic Technician to join our Day Shift team. The position involves performing ophthalmic testing, triage and patient teaching, with travel to Burr Ridge, Hickory Hills, and Oakbrook Terrace as needed.

Requires an Associates Degree or equivalent Ophthalmic Technician Program; less than one year experience required, one year preferred. Certification within first year; we cannot sponsor visas. Competitive wages with benefits starting day one.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree or equivalent training in ophthalmic care.
• Less than one year of experience required; 1 year preferred.
• Staff must become certified ophthalmic assistants within the first year of employment.

Responsabilités

• Provide comprehensive patient care including specialized ophthalmic testing, triage and patient teaching.
• Perform basic and routine eye examination procedures to assist in diagnosis and treatment of eye diseases.
• Explain diagnostic and treatment procedures to patients.
