About the Role We are seeking both new and experienced ophthalmic assistants to join our team. Certified and uncertified candidates are encouraged to apply! As an Ophthalmic Assistant, you will play an important role in the patient experience by gathering and documenting clinical information, assisting providers with examinations and procedures, and helping to ensure efficient patient flow throughout the practice. Working closely with our Ophthalmologists and clinical team, you will help support the diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing management of a wide variety of ocular conditions. Training & Scheduling Information To ensure a successful onboarding experience, the first 2–3 months of training may take place at our Boston locations and may include supporting other locations as needed prior to the Weymouth site becoming fully operational. Following the opening of the Weymouth office, occasional coverage at other locations may be required based on operational needs. Hours are assigned based on clinical and operational needs, as well as staff availability, and may vary.
