Job summary

North Idaho Eye Institute is seeking a Surgery Center Supervisor to lead our Ambulatory Surgery Center. You will oversee day-to-day operations, coordinate schedules, and develop staff to ensure high-quality patient care.

Ideal candidates have 2–5 years in surgical settings, a healthcare management background, and leadership experience. Expect tight collaboration with clinical and administrative teams to maintain safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• RN or healthcare management degree is required or preferred.
• 2-5 years in ambulatory surgery center or ophthalmology setting.
• Previous leadership experience is preferred.
• Familiarity with ophthalmic procedures and ASC workflows.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day ophthalmic surgery center operations.
• Coordinate surgical schedules and patient flow for efficiency.
• Coach and develop staff through training and performance reviews.
• Partner with clinical and admin leaders to optimize workflows.
• Lead quality improvement and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Manage inventory, equipment, and vendor relationships.
• Monitor OR utilization, productivity, and patient satisfaction.
• Prepare reports and dashboards for leadership decisions.
• Foster teamwork, accountability, patient safety and service.
