Job summary

Pilgrim’s is hiring a Coordinator of Operational Excellence to direct projects at a processing plant and live operations across a complex. You will work with safety, HR, QA, engineering, and operations, leading improvement programs and KPI analysis.

Responsibilities include driving 6S, SOPs, SPC, RCA, Kaizen events, labor standards, and cross-functional coaching while supporting a culture of safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in engineering, science, or business.
• 2–5 years of manufacturing experience (poultry preferred).
• At least 1 year in Pilgrim’s.
• Willingness to relocate and travel for training and deployment.
• Background in ZBB or production.
• Ability to work variable shifts.

Responsibilities

• Lives and reinforces Safety as a condition in all activities.
• Leads Management Method pillars as a business partner.
• Identify KPI gaps and lead continuous improvement projects.
• Develop and manage process improvements for efficiency and cost reduction.
• Co-own Management Pillar implementation and train personnel.
• Update and analyze key metrics for the complex or business unit.
• Support labor standards knowledge and sharing of best practices.
• Participate in Operational Excellence management team meetings.
