Job summary

Elanco Internship Program is seeking an Operational Excellence Intern for the Elwood, KS plant. You will join the global OpEx team and support Lean Six Sigma initiatives to improve manufacturing and quality processes this summer.

Ideal candidates are engineering, science, or data analysis students with a willingness to learn and a passion for process improvement. Remote work is not indicated; travel may be required for corporate facilities in Indianapolis, IN.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in engineering, science, or data analysis field.
• Demonstrates interest in reviewing and improving processes, data, and statistics.
• Experience with Microsoft Office tools is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in Lean Six Sigma methodologies to drive OpEx initiatives.
• Work on projects focused on optimizing workflows, eliminating waste, and boosting productivity.
• Utilize data analysis to establish process improvement methods.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to implement process improvements in a pharmaceutical space.
