Elanco is seeking a Manufacturing Associate Intern for Summer 2027 at the Elwood, Kansas plant. You will contribute to a hands-on technical project focused on improving processes, solving business challenges, and supporting operational excellence.

The internship runs May 17th - August 6th, 2027, with a competitive salary of $20-$40/hour, housing support, mentoring, and opportunities for future full-time roles based on performance.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an Engineering major (Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, or Process)
• Experience with Microsoft Suite and a willingness to learn
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities

Responsibilities

• Understand the Animal Health Manufacturing process and document with GMP guidelines
• Collaborate in cross-functional teams to implement process improvements or QC lab enhancements
• Learn about quality control, mAbs production, product recovery, finishing, or packaging for companion animals
• Study design improvement processes
