Job summary

American Emergency Vehicles, Inc. is seeking an OPEX Coordinator to drive continuous improvement across vehicle manufacturing operations. You will partner with production, quality, engineering, and supply chain to improve safety, quality, delivery, and cost using lean methodologies.

Responsibilities include leading improvement projects, conducting 5S, value stream mapping, and waste reduction, and coaching teams to achieve operational excellence. Strong communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2–3 years of vehicle manufacturing experience.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong math, written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead continuous improvement initiatives across production lines.
• Facilitate 5S, standard work, and value stream mapping.
• Coordinate time studies and kaizen events with supervisors.
• Perform root-cause analysis to eliminate waste and improve process flow.
• Coach employees on OpEx initiatives and report progress to management.
• Support safety and quality objectives through rigorous problem solving.
