Job summary

American Emergency Vehicles (AEV) is seeking an OPEX Coordinator to drive continuous improvement across vehicle manufacturing operations. You'll partner with production, quality, engineering, and supply chain to improve safety, quality, delivery, and cost using lean methods.

Responsibilities include leading 5S and value stream projects, performing root-cause analysis, and training teams on OpEx initiatives while reporting progress to management.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• 2-3 years vehicle manufacturing experience.
• MS Office software capabilities (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Effective written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to interact with others positively and professionally.
• Must possess quality organizational skills and be a self-starter.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives across production lines and related functions.
• Facilitate 5S, standard work, value stream mapping, and waste reduction projects.
• Coordinate, monitor, and drive project activities with risk and scope management.
• Conduct root-cause analysis to eliminate waste and improve processes.
• Coach and train employees on OpEx improvements.
• Communicate project status to upper management as needed.
• Participate in Gemba walks and kaizen events.
