Job Summary

The Utility Operator operates multiple equipment types depending on specific requirements and collaborates daily with the operations team. Precise, accurate, and timely work activities are crucial for the overall operation's success.

Job Responsibilities

• Operate loaders, excavators, haul trucks, graders, bulldozers, skid steers, and water trucks.
• Load tractor trailers and dump trucks.
• Maintain facility cleanliness and organization.
• Build and strip forms.
• Mix and pour concrete and castables.
• Assist with minor maintenance and repairs.
• Support cleanup activities before and after maintenance.
• Communicate and cooperate with truckers and customers.
• Record downtime and actions taken.
• Refuel and clean loaders.
• Follow all safety regulations and wear proper safety equipment.
• Meet or exceed safety standards.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• Bilingual skills are a plus.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Ability to read, write, and speak English.

Working Conditions

• Exposure to extreme temperatures, noise, and outdoor environments.
• Mandatory use of protective equipment.

Physical Requirements

• Walking, sitting, lifting, pushing, pulling, and climbing.
• Ability to exert significant force up to 100 pounds occasionally.
