High Valley Transit in Utah is seeking an Operator Trainer to support the Deputy Manager with classroom and on-the-road training. The role includes training non-CDL hires and CDL holders, and involves safely transporting people by bus on scheduled routes.

Qualifications

• Class B Commercial Driver’s License with Air Brakes and Passenger Endorsement.
• 2 years of driving a commercial vehicle.
• Training experience preferred but not required.
• Must pass a criminal and background check.
• Must pass a drug screening within 72 hours of offer.
• Demonstration of recent customer service experience while operating on a fixed route service.
• Department of Transportation Medical (DOT) Card.
• Ability to perform the physical requirements of the job including lifting, reaching, and standing for extended periods.

Job description

High Valley Transit, located in Utah, is seeking candidates for an Operator Trainer. This individual will be supporting the Deputy Manager for both in classroom and on the road training. The Operator Trainer will be working with non-CDL hires as well as current CDL holders. In addition to training, this position is also responsible for safely transporting people by bus on regularly scheduled High Valley Transit bus routes.

SALARY RANGE

$30.00-$33.00/hourly depending on experience and qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• Legally eligible to work in the United States


• Minimum 21 years of age
