We Are Hiring

• Department: Telecom Switchboard
• Schedule: Part-time rotating schedule, 7am - 7pm mainly, travel to other locations
• Hospital: Ascension St John
• Location: Broken Arrow

What You Will Do

Operate the organization's telecommunication system to answer and route incoming calls and to communicate codes, alerts, drills and other announcements.

• Receive and relay internal and external calls and provide general information according to protocol.
• Maintain desk directories, on-call list, reference guides and other associated reference materials.
• Operate beeper and paging system to contact personnel and code team.
• Communicates codes, alerts, drills and other announcements according to established policies and protocols, including disaster management plans.

What You Will Need

Education:

• High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
  • Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.

Additional Preferences

Experience:

• Customer service experience,
• Good communication skills, ability to multitask, ability to answer multi-line telephone system, effectively use head announcement system
• Must be flexible in schedule and be able to travel to Tulsa
• Security dispatching as well
• Calmness is a must to deal with emergency situation
