Job summary

Amrize is seeking an Equipment Operator to learn and run multiple lines, setup and operate various machinery, and maintain clean work areas. You will complete production paperwork and adhere to lockout procedures and PPE requirements in a safety‑driven environment.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, willingness to work overtime, nights, and weekends, and prior factory or machine operation experience is preferred. A team-oriented mindset is essential to succeed.

Qualifications

  • Forklift operator experience preferred.

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Equipment Operator will be responsible for learning and running and setting up multiple pieces of equipment on multiple lines in a safe and efficient manner. You will fill out required production paperwork and turn in to proper department leads. You will also be responsible for keeping your designated equipment/area cleaned and performing PM on the equipment.

WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH
  • Must be able to learn and run multiple pieces of equipment on multiple lines.

  • Must work in a safe and efficient manner

  • Fill out required production paperwork and turn in to proper department leads

  • Work in a safe manner, follow lock out tag out program, and wear required PPE

  • Learn and perform equipment set up

  • Must keep equipment/area cleaned and perform PM on equipment

  • Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Education:
  • High school Diploma or GED required.
Required Work Experience:
  • Factory experience preferred

  • Machine operator experience preferred

  • Forklift operator experience preferred

  • Ability to work closely with others in a team environment

  • Must be willing and able to work overtime, nights, and weekends as required

Additional Requirements :
  • Ability to operate and read basic measuring tools

  • Tape measure

  • Caliper

  • Digital scale

  • Must have basic math skills

  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds

  • Must be able to pass drug screen and physical

  • Must be able to pass a background check

  • Must be self-motivated with the ability to meet production goals

  • Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
