Job summary

QPS Employment Group is hiring an Operator for night shifts in the food and beverage production facility. The role involves operating drying, mixing, batching, and bagging equipment while following SOPs and safety policies.

Training will be provided, and there is opportunity for cross-training across centers in a fast-paced environment. Must be able to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform data entry with accuracy.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Good mathematical and data entry skills.
• Capable of working in a manual, fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to work in varying temperatures and environments.

Responsibilities

• Operate production equipment, including drying, mixing, batching, and bagging machinery.
• Follow SOPs and company documentation accurately.
• Assist with equipment setup, assembly, and cleaning, including CIP procedures.
• Ensure proper labeling, weighing, and staging of batches per packaging standards.
• Work in wet, dusty, or elevated environments with safety policies.
• Use manual pallet jacks and secure forklift certification if applicable.
• Participate in safety training such as Hazcom, Chemical Safety, LOTO, and others.
• Support sanitation and maintain good housekeeping on the production floor.
• Report safety hazards, injuries, or incidents to supervisors.
• Cross-train across different work centers for flexibility and efficiency.
• Assist with allergen handling, chemical use, and confined space tasks when necessary.

Operator Responsibilities

• Operate production equipment, including drying, mixing, batching, and bagging machinery.
• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and company documentation accurately.
• Assist with equipment setup, assembly, and cleaning, including Clean in Place (CIP) procedures.
• Ensure proper labeling, weighing, and staging of batches in accordance with packaging standards.
• Work in wet, dusty, or elevated environments while adhering to all safety and safety policies.
• Use manual pallet jacks and secure forklift certification if applicable.
• Participate in safety training such as Hazcom, Chemical Safety, Lock Out/Tag Out, and others.
• Support sanitation efforts and maintain good housekeeping practices on the production floor.
• Report safety hazards, injuries, or incidents immediately to supervisors.
• Cross-train across different work centers for flexibility and efficiency.
• Assist with allergen handling, chemical use, and confined space tasks when necessary.

Operator Requirements

• No prior experience required; high school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs. regularly.
• Good mathematical and data entry skills.
• Capable of working consistently in a manual, fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to work in varying temperatures and environments, including wet or dusty conditions.
• Ability to read and interpret SOPs and documentation.
• Must be able to work on-site with reliable attendance.
