Position Title: Operator Wage: $20.00 per hour Shift: Day Hours: 4:30am-5:00pm (2/2/3)

This role offers the opportunity to develop technical skills, gain valuable industry experience, and work in a fast-paced environment that emphasizes safety and teamwork.

Operator Responsibilities
  • Operate production equipment, including drying, mixing, batching, and bagging machinery.
  • Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and company documentation accurately.
  • Assist with equipment setup, assembly, and cleaning, including Clean in Place (CIP) procedures.
  • Ensure proper labeling, weighing, and staging of batches in accordance with packaging standards.
  • Work in wet, dusty, or elevated environments while adhering to all safety and safety policies.
  • Use manual pallet jacks and secure forklift certification if applicable.
  • Participate in safety training such as Hazcom, Chemical Safety, Lock Out/Tag Out, and others.
  • Support sanitation efforts and maintain good housekeeping practices on the production floor.
  • Report safety hazards, injuries, or incidents immediately to supervisors.
  • Cross-train across different work centers for flexibility and efficiency.
  • Assist with allergen handling, chemical use, and confined space tasks when necessary.
Operator Requirements
  • No prior experience required; high school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs. regularly.
  • Good mathematical and data entry skills.
  • Capable of working consistently in a manual, fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to work in varying temperatures and environments, including wet or dusty conditions.
  • Ability to read and interpret SOPs and documentation.
  • Must be able to work on-site with reliable attendance.
