We are looking for a Motivated Production Operator to join our team. Responsibilities include operating, adjusting, and troubleshooting equipment in receiving, production, packaging, and distribution areas. This involves monitoring processes, coordinating production operations, and managing the movement of materials and products throughout the facility. The role involves working with computers, standing, bending, and lifting frequently.

WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU:

  • Hourly pay rate of $22.41
  • $1.80/hr for night shift
  • 2/2/3 rotating schedule
  • Shifts from 6am-6pm / 6pm-6am

WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH:

  • Operate, clean, and inspect equipment.
  • Complete effective changeovers.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance and adhere to quality standards outlined in HACCP, QMS, and other SOPs.
  • Pull product samples and perform quality inspections.
  • Sanitize equipment and areas, including disassembly and assembly.
  • Address quality defects and follow up accordingly.
  • Identify root causes of downtime and record data accurately.
  • Collaborate with team members to improve operations, safety, quality, cost, and service.
  • Work safely and report unsafe conditions.
  • Support a positive culture and follow company values.
  • Support the facility in achieving goals and objectives.
  • Take responsibility for equipment, team, and continuous improvement.
  • Work in a team environment with honest communication and accountability.
  • Record information accurately and work off-shifts, including weekends and extended hours.
  • Operate computers and handle products/materials up to 50 lbs.

SKILLS:

  • Maintain FIFO practices.
  • Participate in planning and debriefs.
  • Sample ingredients and unload trucks.
  • Handle equipment properly and perform quality inspections.
  • Ensure safety and quality standards are met.
  • Perform safety inspections and cycle counts.
  • Operate RF terminals and barcode scanners.
  • Follow the Hold Program for shipping.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • 2 years of work experience or post-secondary education.
  • 3 months of manufacturing experience, preferably in beverage products or with Nestlé.
