Job summary

Genesis Energy, LLC is seeking Offshore Platform Operators for their hydrocarbon processing facilities near Houma, Louisiana. These operators will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation and maintenance of offshore platform equipment on a 14-on/14-off rotation.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years offshore experience, a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, and knowledge of processing or fractionation plant systems.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of offshore Platform Operator experience.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Knowledge of operation, control, and design of processing or fractionation plant systems.

Responsibilities

• Operate offshore platform equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain and troubleshoot processing systems.
• Work a 14-on/14-off rotation schedule.
• Follow safety policies and wear required PPE.
• Collaborate with team and respond to call-outs as needed.

Offshore Operators - Platform - 14/14 - Houma, LA

Genesis Energy, LLC is seeking Offshore Platform Operators for their hydrocarbon processing facilities near Houma, Louisiana. These operators will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation and maintenance of offshore platform equipment. The ideal candidates are experienced in offshore operations, safety-focused, and able to work a 14/14 rotation schedule. What You’ll Need

• High School diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
• 3-5 years of experience as an Offshore Platform Operator
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
• Experience in natural gas/gas liquids, gas processing, petrochemical, refining or mining industry
• Knowledge of operation, control, and design of processing or fractionation plant systems
• Mechanical aptitude and dexterity with tools and equipment
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations and use computer applications
• Good verbal/written communication skills and strong work ethic
• Ability to work overtime and handle call-outs
• Ability to read and comprehend P&ID and PFD drawings
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment
• Ability to work in temperature extremes and confined spaces
• Ability to lift, push, pull, and hold equipment and tools
• Must wear special safety equipment and be able to lift and put on emergency breathing apparatus
• Ability to travel in helicopter to offshore facilities
