Qualifications

• High School diploma or G.E.D. equivalent is required.
• Technical certification or equivalent training in a mechanical environment or energy related field preferred.
• 3-5 years of experience as an Offshore Platform Operator is required.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Experience in natural gas/gas liquids, gas processing, petrochemical, refining or mining industry is required.
• Knowledge of operation, control and design of systems in a processing or fractionation plant is required.
• Must demonstrate mechanical aptitude and dexterity with tools and equipment.
• Ability to read and comprehend P&ID and PFD drawings.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain hydrocarbon processing facility equipment.
• Follow safety manuals, operating procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Troubleshoot platform equipment failures and act accordingly.
• Develop and complete reports related to the operation of the facility.
