Job description

This position's shift works 5 PM - 5 AM on a 2-2-3 schedule. Operators start at $21.00 per hour, with an additional $1.60 shift differential. Operators are eligible for quarterly bonuses!

$1,000 sign-on bonus available after 6 months of employment!

What you will do:

• Follow all standard operating procedures during daily operations.
• Adhere to safety rules by inspecting safety equipment and maintaining safety standards.
• Prepare machinery for operation.
• Keep records and logs related to plant operations.
• Operate valves and pumps associated with production systems to transfer products between tanks.
• Monitor temperatures, pH levels, and processing times of products.
• Ensure product quality by monitoring and sampling as required.
• Unload and load trailers and rail cars.
• Operate shag tractor to spot trailers.
• Perform housekeeping duties as assigned by Shift Lead, Operations Supervisor, and Plant Management.
• Demonstrate company values in daily interactions.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to operate computer systems including Microsoft Outlook, PIMS, Word, and Excel.
• Ability to read and write English and perform basic mathematical calculations.
