AirStrip is adding a Junior Installation Engineer to our team. In this role, you will complete initial installation, configuration, and testing of all products within the AirStrip portfolio and serve as one of AirStrip’s tier 2 technical support team members, regularly engaging with customers across the healthcare landscape. You're a skilled technical support professional with impeccable attention to detail and follow-through, along with the ability to build rapport with your team members and customers.

Please note, this position requires on-call availability for holidays and weekends, as assigned.

Day-to-day activities include, but are not limited to:

  • Perform initial installation, configuration, and testing of AirStrip software at customer sites, completing required checklists and documentation.
  • Participate as a project team member with the Delivery Project Management Office for installations and work orders.
  • Assist with determining customer technical architecture and required work to enable AirStrip products to operate safely and effectively.
  • Perform updates, upgrades, and patches to AirStrip software, updating Salesforce customer server records and maintaining detailed records of all work performed.
  • Provide Tier 2 support to customers and partners regarding software installation and operation, documenting actions and escalating issues as needed.
  • Provide after-hours installation and support as required.
  • Engage with development teams to transition new software versions into production, including testing, training, and peer mentoring in Tiers 1 & 2.

Education & Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent professional experience.
  • Previous experience with AirStrip technologies.
  • Certifications: CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, ITIL 4 Foundations, Microsoft Technology Associate.
  • 1-3 years of experience in technical/server support or healthcare IT, including interaction with healthcare IT vendors and hospital staff, and experience with HL7 and DICOM interfaces.

The salary range for this position in the US is $55,000 - $64,000, depending on qualifications and location.
