The Impact You Can Have

As an Equipment Operator, you will ensure the safe transport of products throughout the distribution center, making it a model of productivity and efficiency. Machinery includes forklifts, order selectors, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and dock stockers, operated primarily using an RF scanner.

Responsibilities

• Operate powered industrial trucks (PIT) and certify on equipment
• Perform daily safety checks on equipment
• Follow all safety guidelines and report hazards or equipment issues
• Pick, pack, restock, and receive merchandise accurately
• Move products safely using appropriate equipment
• Build pallets, load/unload trucks, and organize storage space
• Adhere to safety, quality, and production standards
• Use scanners for work directions
• Lift and move boxes weighing up to 50 pounds repeatedly
• Stand, walk, bend, and perform physical tasks during shifts
• Work overtime as needed and communicate effectively with team members

Success Factors

Qualified candidates are dependable, self-motivated, at least 18 years old, and able to complete training and certification. Additional requirements include solid math skills, a high school diploma or GED, and experience or familiarity with RF scanners and basic computer skills.

Physical and Environmental Conditions

• Exposure to loud noises, variable temperatures, dusty environments, and strong scents
• May work in high places, narrow aisles, or trailers
