Job summary

Scorpion Therapeutics in Wisconsin is seeking an Operator to join the manufacturing team. You will assist with setup and operation of production equipment, ensure proper labeling and storage, and maintain clean, inspection-ready work areas.

The role requires good mechanical skills, strong communication and time-management, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Prior experience and proficiency in Word/Excel are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma.
• Two years of experience or a combination of experience and/or education.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds; stand or sit for extended periods; wear a respirator.

• Visually inspect the product during operation and observe equipment; seek maintenance assistance and recommend improvements.
• Assist with setup and running of production equipment.
• Prepare and clean manufacturing rooms and equipment for inspection; keep work area clean and orderly.
• Ensure products are properly labeled and stored.
• Document material runs via Batch Production Records, In-Process Sheets, Log Books, and Time Sheets.
• Assist in training new personnel in the manufacturing operation as directed.
• Perform calibration on scales, line meters, coating ovens, micrometers, etc. as instructed.
• Coordinate work of other Operators and act as backup to Senior Operator as directed.

Minimum qualifications:

• Minimum two years of experience (or combination of experience and/or education).
• Good mechanical, communication, time management, organizational, interpersonal, and writing skills.
• Computer skills including Microsoft Word and Excel and Lotus Notes.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds; stoop, climb ladders/stairs, and stand or sit for extended periods.
• Ability to wear a respirator; hear an alarm; identify small defects; distinguish between colors.

Compensation:

• Salary range: $30,000 - $49,000.
