Job summary

Scorpion Therapeutics is seeking a Senior Operator to join our Wisconsin production team. You will visually inspect products, set up and run production equipment, and ensure proper labeling and waste handling on multiple lines.

The role includes training new staff, performing calibration and cleaning tasks, and documenting runs in SAP. You will coordinate with QA, supervision, and production support to minimize quality impact and back up the Lead Operator as needed.

Qualifications

• HS diploma.
• 7+ years of experience (combination of experience and/or education considered).

Responsibilities

• Visually inspect the product during operation; observe equipment/process operation; seek maintenance assistance; recommend improvements.
• Set up and run production equipment.
• Prepare process/product-specific cleaning activities for lines and equipment; keep work area clean and orderly.
• Document material runs via Batch Production Records, In-Process Sheets, Log Books, and Time Sheets.
• Perform status verification, material/component consumption, and post-batch material/component returns in SAP; ensure returns are correctly labeled.
• Assist in training new personnel in the manufacturing operation under supervision.
• Perform calibration on scales, line meters, coating ovens, micrometers, etc., as instructed.
• Perform post-run reconciliation and waste-handling activities.
• Prepare components and/or processing aids for introduction to the process.
• Coordinate/oversee other Operators; act as backup to Lead Operator or Supervisor as necessary.
• Collaborate with Supervisor, QA, and Production Support on unscripted production events to evaluate/minimize quality impact.
• Provide leadership and versatility across multiple production lines.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Compensation

• Salary range: $37,000.00 - $73,000.00 USD.
