Job summary

Scorpion Therapeutics in Wisconsin is seeking an Operator to support manufacturing activities on site. You will visually inspect products, set up and run production equipment, and keep the work area clean and organized.

You will ensure proper labeling and storage, document batches and times, and assist in training new staff. The role requires physical capability and the ability to work closely with a team and supervisors.

Qualifications

• HS diploma is required.
• Two years of experience or an equivalent education/experience combo.
• Mechanical, communication, time management, organizational and writing skills are required.
• Proficiency with Word and Excel and familiarity with Lotus Notes.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and wear a respirator.

Responsibilities

• Visually inspect product during operation, observe equipment, seek maintenance help and suggest improvements.
• Assist with setup and running of production equipment.
• Prepare and clean manufacturing rooms and equipment for inspection; keep area tidy.
• Ensure all products are properly labeled and stored.
• Document material runs using Batch Production Records, In-Process Sheets, Log Books, and Time Sheets.
• Assist in training new personnel in manufacturing operations as directed.
• Perform calibration on scales, line meters, coating ovens, micrometers, etc., as instructed.
• Coordinate the work of other Operators; act as backup to Senior Operator as directed.

Minimum qualifications:

• HS diploma.


• Minimum of two years of experience (or combination of experience and/or education).


• Mechanical, communication, time management, organizational, interpersonal, and writing skills; computer skills including Microsoft Word and Excel and Lotus Notes.


• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.


• Ability to stoop, climb ladders/stairs, and stand/sit for extended periods.


• Ability to wear a respirator and hear an alarm.


• Ability to identify small defects and distinguish between colors.

Compensation:

• Salary range: $37,000.00 - $73,000.00 USD.
