Qualifications

• Ability to perform manual assembly tasks efficiently.
• Familiarity with IATF 16949 and ISO 14001 standards.
• Understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles.
• IATF 16949 and ISO 14001 adherence required.
• Report equipment/output issues to supervisor promptly.
• Support lean manufacturing initiatives and efficiency gains.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the work area.
• Identify parts by size and ensure proper stacking/boxing.
• Follow Viking Plastics’ lot traceability procedures.

Responsibilities

• Manually assemble and visually inspect finished products.

This position has responsibilities to manually assemble and visually inspect finished products.Include, but not limited to the following :

• Performing hand-assembly production jobs
• Being responsible for quality and quantity of parts packed
• Control plan adherence
• Adherence to approved work instructions
• IATF 16949 and ISO 14001 adherence
• Communicate equipment and output problems to supervisor
• Efficiency improvements (more good parts per hour)
• Lean Manufacturing implementation
• Cleanliness and organization improvement
• Knowing and follow all safety rules, report any concerns, keep work area clean
• Knowing how to set and use scales
• Knowing how and where to find materials
• Be able to identify parts by size
• Making boxes
• Knowing and adhering to Viking Plastics’ lot traceability procedures
• Reporting on-time for shift start, ready to work and have good attendance record
• Participate in inventory control
• Grind runners when needed, process scrap according to procedures
• Stage skids
• Help give breaks, assist others
• Complete paperwork
