Job summary

MANN+HUMMEL in Gastonia, NC is seeking a dedicated manufacturing operator to assist in setup, adjustment and operation of production machinery to meet specifications. You will support acquiring operation plans, process batches, and perform routine maintenance to keep equipment in good working order.

The role also involves monitoring machine performance, troubleshooting issues, and maintaining accurate records of processes and outcomes in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assisting in the setup, adjustment and operation of machinery to produce goods or parts according to specifications
• Supporting the acquisition of operation plans and carrying out the processing of manufacturing batches of bulk materials/ingredients, including mechanical processing as required
• Performing cleaning, servicing and routine maintenance on machines to ensure they remain in good working order
• Supporting the monitoring of machines during operation to ensure they are functioning properly and carrying out repairs as needed
• Identifying problems (causes) that occur with machines and supporting the optimization of processes for troubleshooting
• Administering operational processes and keeping accurate records of machine performance
