Job summary

MANN+HUMMEL in Goldsboro, NC seeks a production operator to operate machine tools, monitor processes, and ensure products meet specifications. This role involves packaging, material handling and maintaining daily production records.

You will support quality standards, comply with HR regulations, health, safety and environmental requirements, and assist with equipment maintenance to minimize downtime.

Responsibilities

• Operating machine tools, chemical processing, assembly or packaging equipment to manufacture products according to production specifications, schedules, volume/ cost/ wastage targets and quality standards
• Moving, packing and sorting of raw materials or finished goods
• Monitoring the quality of output to identify, discard or re-manufacture faulty products
• Administering accurate daily production records as input to manufacturing performance analysis
• Supporting efforts to meet quality standards and ensure compliance with HR regulations, data protection laws and health, safety and environmental (HSE) requirements
• Supporting the maintenance of machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime
