Job summary

WhiteWater is seeking an Operator II for the Littleton, MA area to operate and maintain assigned water facilities and to support the Operations Lead Operator and Supervisor. The role includes an on-call rotation with night and weekend coverage.

Required are a high school diploma or GED, 3+ years in the water field, a valid US driver’s license, and the ability to obtain a DOT medical card. OSHA 10 or ability to obtain, and regulatory knowledge, are also required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Three years minimum experience in Water field or related industry.
• Valid US Driver's License; able to obtain DOT medical card; pass pre-employment drug screen.
• License: T-1 and/or D-1 Water Operator or eligible to obtain within 6 months.
• OSHA 10 General Industry certification or ability to obtain during pre-employment.
• Must be available after hours and on-call work as required.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements.

Position Summary:

The Operator II Water Central Region - Littleton MA will operate and maintain assigned facilities and to actively support the Operations Lead Operator & Supervisor. The Operator will be part of an on-call rotation requiring night and weekend coverage as needed.

Hiring Requirements for Water Operator:

• High School diploma or general education degree (GED).
• Minimum of three (3) years experience in Water field or related industry required.
• Must possess a valid and active T-1 and or D-1 Water Operator License OR have passed the D1 and T1 exam, have submitted license application with ability to obtain within 6 months.
• Demonstrated communication skills.
• Must be computer literate in Windows and MS Office.
• Must be available after hours and on call work as required.
• Must possess knowledge of regulatory requirements.
• OSHA 10 General Industry Certification, or ability to obtain during pre-employment (company provided online training).
• Obtain and maintain a DOT medical card and pass pre-employment drug screen.
• Valid US Driver's License.
