Job summary

WhiteWater, Inc. is seeking a Water Operator II in Charlton, MA to operate and maintain designated facilities and to support the Operations Lead Operator and Supervisor.

The role requires 3+ years in the water field, a valid T-1/D-1 Water Operator License or ability to obtain within 6 months, and flexibility for after-hours on-call shifts including nights and weekends. OSHA 10 and a DOT medical card are preferred.

Qualifications

• Valid Water Operator License (T-1 and/or D-1) or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• Must demonstrate strong communication skills.
• Computer literate in Windows and MS Office.
• Available after hours and on-call as required.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements.
• OSHA 10 Certification or ability to obtain during pre-employment.
• DOT medical card required; pass pre-employment drug screen.
• Valid unrestricted driver’s license preferred.

Water Operator Position Summary

The Operator II, Water will operate and maintain assigned facilities and to actively support the Operations Lead Operator & Supervisor. The Operator will be part of an on-call rotation requiring night and weekend coverage as needed.

Hiring Requirements / Preferences for Water Operator

• High School diploma or general education degree (GED).
• Minimum of three (3) years' experience in Water field or related industry required.
• Must possess a valid and active T-1 and/or D-1 Water Operator License or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• Demonstrated communication skills.
• Must be computer literate in Windows and MS Office.
• Must be available after hours and on-call work as required.
• Must possess knowledge of regulatory requirements.
• OSHA 10 General Industry Certification, or ability to obtain during pre-employment (company provided online training).
• Obtain and maintain a DOT medical card and pass pre-employment drug screen.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a valid unrestricted Driver's License.
