Job summary

CMC provides an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment within our steel and construction reinforcement industries. You will handle materials, operate a forklift, and support inventory and shipping operations, ensuring accuracy and safety in daily tasks.

We value hands-on teamwork, reliable work habits, and the ability to work in varying weather conditions while lifting up to 50 pounds and using hand tools as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in construction and/or manufacturing environments.
• Ability to communicate with customers, employees, and business leaders.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to multi-task.
• Able to work in uncontrolled climate and in the elements.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Sort and place materials and items on racks, shelves or bins according to predetermined sequence.
• Operate a forklift to move material and supplies as required.
• Perform a wide range of physical activities including pulling, pushing, bending, climbing and kneeling.
• Assemble customer orders from stock and place orders in the shipping/holding area.
• Assist in unloading and loading customers and performing inventory checks.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area at all times.
• Other duties as assigned in general support of the organization.
