Job summary

IP Corporation in Kentucky is seeking an Operator (B) to perform intermediate-level production tasks, operate equipment, and support manufacturing processes with increasing independence and skill. This role handles routine production tasks, follows established procedures, and supports overall production flow while developing technical expertise.

The Operator (B) will batch, mix, monitor, and inspect quality, maintain records, and ensure safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1–3 years of manufacturing or production experience.
  • Ability to work independently on routine tasks.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality.
  • Willingness to learn and develop technical skills.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work in a hands-on, fast-paced environment.
  • Basic problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Operate production equipment and follow standard operating procedures.
  • Perform batching, mixing, or processing tasks as assigned.
  • Monitor equipment and processes to ensure proper operation.
  • Perform quality checks and report any deviations.
  • Maintain accurate production records and documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards.
  • Assist in troubleshooting basic equipment or process issues.
  • Support material handling and workflow within the production area.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Continue developing skills toward advanced operator responsibilities.

What is an Operator (B)?
