Job summary

West Fraser is seeking a manufacturing/production operator in Seaboard, NC to operate and monitor equipment, perform quality checks, and maintain a clean work area. The role emphasizes safety, timely execution, and strong teamwork in a rotating schedule.

Qualified applicants must have a HS diploma or GED, be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship, and complete required background checks, drug screen, and physical. OSHA- or safety-focused candidates will excel in this environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Able to work a 10-hour rotating schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Able to walk, stand, bend, climb stairs, and lift up to 50 lbs. throughout the shift.
• Successful completion of a background check, drug screen, and physical.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor machines safely to meet optimum efficiency.
• Complete quality checks and follow safety protocols.
• Communicate issues clearly and work as part of a team.
• Maintain and service machine according to PMs.
• Maintain cleanliness of work area.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
• Be on time, every time.
