Job summary

West Fraser is hiring for an entry-level manufacturing associate in North Carolina. You will operate and monitor production equipment, perform quality checks, and keep a clean work area while adhering to safety policies.

The role requires working a 10-hour rotating schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays, in an outdoor manufacturing environment. You will be expected to communicate issues promptly and be ready to cross-train into other tasks as needed.

Qualifications

  • Must be eligible to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.
  • Ability to work a 10-hour rotating schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Outdoor environment in all kinds of weather.
  • Follow all West Fraser safety policies and procedures.
  • Walk, stand, bend, climb stairs, and lift up to 50 lbs throughout the shift.
  • Successful completion of a background check, drug screen, and physical.

Responsibilities

  • Operate and monitor machines safely and for optimum efficiency.
  • Complete quality checks and follow safety protocols.
  • Communicate issues clearly and work as part of a team.
  • Maintain and service machines according to PMs.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the work area.
  • Be on time, every time.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
