Carpenter Co. in Temple, TX seeks an Operator A - Rolls Manufacturing to run a Loop Slitter or Convolute and produce foam components for external customers. You will follow production schedules, perform quality checks, and communicate with supervisors to keep operations aligned with safety and quality standards.

Carpenter Co. has an immediate opening for an Operator A - Rolls Manufacturing - Temple, TX - 1st Shift Start time 7:00 am with overtime as needed to complete the work for the day.
Carpenter Co. employees are committed to working hard to ensure production goals are met while maintaining operations excellence. As the Operator A, you will be expected to be responsible for the efficient operation of a Loop Slitter and/or a Convolute machine to produce quality cut foam material to meet a daily production schedule for external customers.
Forklift certification required and will be provided.
Position must maintain daily communication with Quality Control, Department Manager and department personnel to make sure that the needs of all internal and external customers through scheduled cutting instructions.
The position works in a normal manufacturing environment with exposure to temperature changes and loud noise. Major challenges include the ability to produce product based on internal and external customers demands and specification and operating a forklift in congested confined area where other forklifts are operating and other employees are working and walking.
