Aspire Bakeries LLC is hiring an Operator 2, Bakery-Production for 1st Shift (6am-2:30pm) at our West Columbia, SC bakery. You will operate and monitor production equipment to support safe, efficient food production and ensure products meet customer specifications and quality standards.

Ideal candidates bring 2+ years of manufacturing experience, the ability to read schedules and recipes, and a strong eye for detail.

• 2+ years in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to operate manufacturing equipment safely.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions, schedules, and recipes.

Responsibilities

• Operate and adjust production equipment to meet quality and specification standards.
• Monitor processes to ensure efficient, consistent production output.
• Maintain production materials and supplies to minimize interruptions.
• Complete production documentation and reports accurately and timely.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with company standards.
• Identify and communicate food safety, quality, maintenance, and production concerns.
• Follow schedules, GMPs, and SOPs to ensure consistent results.

About the Role

We are seeking a Operator 2, Bakery-Production - 1st Shift 1 Palletizer Operator to join our team at our bakery location. As a Operator 2, Bakery-Production - 1st Shift 1 Palletizer Operator, you will be accountable for operating and monitoring manufacturing equipment to support safe, efficient, and high-quality food production. This role is critical to ensuring products consistently meet customer specifications, food safety requirements, and production targets.

Shift & Schedule

• Shift: 1st Shift
• Hours: 6am-2:30pm
• Weekends: Required by the business

Core Accountabilities (What You'll Be Doing)

• Operate and adjust production equipment to ensure products meet quality and specification standards.
• Monitor manufacturing processes to support efficient and consistent production output.
• Maintain production materials and supplies to minimize operational interruptions.
• Complete production documentation and reports accurately and timely.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with company standards.
• Identify and communicate food safety, quality, maintenance, and production concerns.
• Follow production schedules, recipes, GMPs, and operating procedures to ensure consistent results.

Minimum Qualifications (What You Bring to the Table)

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of manufacturing experience.
• Ability to safely operate manufacturing equipment.
• Basic troubleshooting skills related to production equipment and processes.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions, production schedules, and recipes.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Preferred Qualifications (Extra Ingredients for Success)

• Food manufacturing or bakery production experience.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
• Experience operating automated production equipment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and equipment troubleshooting skills.
• Experience completing production documentation and quality records.
