Job summary

MacLean Power Systems in Tennessee is seeking an Operator 1 - Forming to operate assigned mechanical equipment and ensure products meet quality standards.

You will read blueprints where applicable, perform measurements, document work, and adhere to 5S and safety policies while supporting continuous improvement in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Perform work under minimal supervision.
• Handle moderately complex issues and problems and refer more complex issues to higher level staff.
• Possess solid working knowledge of subject matter.
• 1 to 3 years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Run assigned mechanical equipment.
• Ensure that items produced pass quality control requirements.
• Perform moderately advanced troubleshooting of equipment and perform adjustments.
• Read and interpret blue prints if applicable.
• Use moderately advanced measuring instruments.
• Complete all necessary documents fully and accurately.
• Adhere to 5S standards (e.g., maintain cleanliness of work area, etc.)
• Follow all Safety, Environmental and Quality policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Operates assigned mechanical equipment in a manufacturing environment.

Job Duties

• Run assigned mechanical equipment.
• Ensure that items produced pass quality control requirements.
• Perform moderately advanced troubleshooting of equipment and perform adjustments.
